The Dice Tower

Once again, Cody Jones and John Richard join us.  Since they are experts on all things GenCon, they make the perfect guests for our big GenCon 2012 preview show!  We talk about games being shown and released at the fair, tips for convention attenders, and our top ten things we're looking forward to at the convention.  See you there!

Yeah, I know we say that were going to talk about GenCon, and we do a very small amount, but most of that is in the next episode.  In this episode, we're joined by Cody Jones and John Richard, and we talk about a pile of recently played games, including Descent 2.0 and D-Day Dice.  We also answer several listener questions, and talk about what games we are looking forward to seeing!

In this show, Brian Englestein starts a new segment, Geoff continues to tell us how to win at games, and Ryan talks about Urban Sprawl.  We have a fake top ten list, go over recent games - such as 1989 and Undermining - and talk about mechanisms from games that we wish we could port to real life.

Once again, we answer a pile of questions, as wel as review Divinaire and discuss the nominees for Spiel des Jahres.  We finish up the show with our top ten "Gateway" games - games used to introduce people to the gaming hobby.
