The Diary Of A Wannabe Writer

I talk about some writing that I’ve finally done this month, as well as the rest of my day and what I’m doing for the next three days.

I didn’t watch the new Doctor Who spinoff today, but I did watch all of the previous episodes of Doctor Who that feature the Sea Devils as well as the first couple of episodes of Torchwood: Children Of Earth which apparently has a character from the new series in it. I’ll probably watch the new stuff tomorrow.

As it says in the title.

Today I got back into writing “Self Portrait” and I’m so pleased with the new material I’ve come up with!

Talking landing day bollocks because I’m tired.

I may not have done any writing today, but I have done loads of work towards finalising the plot points to make writing the final chapters of “Self Portrait” much, much easier!

You may have noticed that there was an element of repetition in the last two episodes of the podcast, that’s because I genuinely forgot that I’d already recorded one in Sydney when I recorded the second one in Sydney! I’m in Singapore now and hopefully slightly less tired.

I also talk about a book launch event I went to this evening, Suddenly Publishing’s “The Taming Of The Bard”...

I achieved a lot today, just not what I intended to.

I talk about a very active day, and read a short extract from a scene I wrote earlier in the day featuring a rather nasty supermarket manager. Who is in no way based on anyone I have ever known. Or worked for. Honest.
