I talk about why today was unproductive and why the next few days are probably going to be similar.

I’ve had an informal offer to publish one of my books. Just not the one I thought I was being offered. It’s complicated, take a listen!

I reflect on the news that Rob Grant, co-creator of the wonderful and silly sci-fi comedy series Red Dwarf, died yesterday.

A quick unexpected update because I felt like it.

I apologise for not delivering the promised episode yesterday, I talk about having signed off chapter 24 of Self Portrait, and then explain why there probably won’t be another episode of this until the 1st of March.

I talk about the writing I got done today, and why the podcast is going to take a short break after tomorrow’s show.

In which I blame my total lack of progress today on a toner cartridge that I don’t have.

An update on the writing I’ve done in the last two days.

In a brief break from the normal stuff, I thought I’d play you my other podcast, which is all about British music. I won’t make a habit of this, it is a one off, normal service will be resumed tomorrow!

In this Valentine’s Day special (that’s a lie, I don’t even reference it) I talk about about getting chapter 23 signed off and some TV I’ve been watching.

I tell you what I thought about the latest episode of Star Trek: StarFleet Academy (don’t worry, no spoilers) as well as book club and what I did yesterday. No writing, sorry, hopefully tomorrow.

Not only did I get rid of my old bed today (complete with the mattress and its giant green condom) I also had a new one delivered and got about 1500 words written.

An update recorded just after I arrived at Heathrow from Houston.

I did some writing when I wasn’t really in the mood to, and actually it was okay!

I talk about my day, the fact I haven’t written, but the fact that thanks the time difference, even though my body thinks it’s 10 at night, it’s actually only 4 in the afternoon, so hopefully I’ll get some writing done. Maybe.
