Tim wrote 'In the Light of Death' in an effort to link the perennial philosophy with bereavement therapy. Now with the book back in print I ask him bout his experiences working with the dying which influenced its writing. We also discuss the mounting evidence from near death experience and after death communication research and how this changes our relationship with both death and the deceased.

I ask Tim about his career as a writer, how he got into it and how it's developed over the past twenty years (and thirty-five books!). We then get into the nature of creativity and it's relationship to the deep conscious space within us. This is a discussion of value to anyone in engaging in any creative endeavour.

The term 'Guru' has become synonymous with abusive relationships and ego inflation, when not so long ago the Guru's of the East were held in such high esteem. In this dialogue we look at all that's wrong with the concept of a Guru, as well as attempting to sift out the positive aspects that can be salvaged an incorporated into a healthy modern spirituality.

In our first dialogue I ask Tim all about Zen Buddhism – where it came from, what distinguishes it from other forms of spirituality and how it's been interpreted in the West.
