This was the week in which I did not pull an OAP Morris dancer, but I do fraternise with a senior French woman; I investigate the weird and wonderful world of football chants, and get stopped on one of my walks by a very garrulous character with an unusual proposition.

Our Australian adventure continues.

March 2016 sees me and my folk band The Young'uns touring Australia. It therefore becomes increasingly challenging to write, record and release daily blogs due to busy schedules, travel and patchy WIFI. But that isn't enough to stop me. Week 11 of this project brings tales of horsey hitch hikers, howling pissing dog ladies and a fictional meeting with the Queen.

Enter the mind of my teenage self as I present you with some of my metal songs covering such subjects as psychos, murderers and vegans. Sheffield and Rotherham do battle, I fondle a couple of rings, and we dollop from yet another exciting location: this time it's Heathrow Airport as I head to Australia.
