The Road to Life: Borrowed Tomb. (Day 33) Today we read about Jesus' burial in a borrowed tomb. As we read John 19:38-42, we learn about the two men who were willing to put their lives on the line to give Jesus a proper burial.

The Road to Life: Father, Into Your Hands. (Day 32) Today we read the final words of Jesus on the cross just before he dies. As we read Luke 23:44-49, we learn that the temple veil was torn in two from top to bottom, opening the way for all to approach God because of Jesus' sacrifice.

The Road to Life: It Is Finished. (Day 31) Today we hear more of Jesus' final words from the cross. As we read John 19:28-30, we hear Jesus declare, "It is finished."

The Road to Life: More Words From the Cross. (Day 30) Today we hear Jesus cry out some of his final words from the cross as we read Mark15:33-38. We also look at Psalm 22 and the prophecies of the Messiah found in it about the crucifixion.

The Road to Life: More Words of Jesus From the Cross. (Day 28) Today we read Luke 23:38-43. Jesus has been hung on the cross between two criminals and he has an interesting conversation with them.

The Road to Life: Words of Jesus From the Cross. (Day 27) Today we read about Jesus being hung on the cross. As we read Luke 23:26-37, we hear Jesus utter his first words from the cross, "Father, forgive them for they don't know what they are doing."

The Road to Life: Betrayed With a Kiss. (Day 22) Today we read two separate gospel accounts of the night Jesus was arrested in the garden. We read John 18:1-12 and Luke 22:47-53.

The Road to Life: Align Your Will to God's Will. (Day 21) Today we read Mark 14:32-42. Jesus is praying in the garden of Gethsemane dealing with his deep anxiety regarding the upcoming events, working to reconcile his will to the will of the Father.

The Road to Life: Jesus Will Be Abandoned. (Day 19) Today we read Matthew 26:31-35. Jesus tells Peter and the other disciples that they will all abandon him. As we consider God's faithful response to our unfaithful hearts, we end the day reading Jesus' words of encouragement to the disciples in John 16:31-33.
