At the end of the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus makes three incredible statements. First, he declares that He has been given all authority in heaven and earth. Second, He instructs His disciples to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Finally, He makes the promise we focus on today. "I am with you always."

This promise begins with an invitation. God invites you to come to Him with your sin. When you sin, the last person you want to talk to is God. So often, when you sin, you hide from God. You feel guilty and shameful and are afraid to come before Him. Even in your sin, He invites you to come and sit before for Him.  

Stop and think about this for a moment. Right now, God is thinking about you. You have His attention. He is pouring his love over you as he thinks about you. You can never comprehend the number of precious thoughts He has toward you.

The Christian life is a Joy-filled life. Jesus was the most joyful person to ever walk on the earth. He destroyed the burdensome teachings of the religious leaders and invited His followers into joy relationship with God. It was His overflowing joy that attracted people to Him.

Today, climb up to all God has called you too. Don't worry about falling or failure because God is going to secure your footing and keep you from falling.

We all want to be successful. Who doesn't want to see plans for their business, career, or family succeed? Everyone wants to see what they are working on be a success.   God gives us a simple plan in this powerful little promise. If you commit your plans to the Lord, He will establish them.

This promise is one of the most honest verses in the Bible. So many people expect the Christian life to be free of struggles, difficulties, or problems. The Psalmist comes right out and says that those who follow God will have difficulties. In fact, he says there will be many of them.   The Bible promise that God will deliver those who follow Him out of all their afflictions.

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. – Hebrews 4:16 Today, you have received an invitation. The invitation is delivered by Jesus, and it requests your presence before the King of glory.

Have you ever felt like you just didn't have what it takes to get through the day? Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Today we go through the promises that we went through during the week.

The love of God is the most powerful force in the universe. It was the love of God that created everything you see around you. It was the love of God that sent Jesus to die for your sins. It was the love of God that called to you to come to Christ. It is the love of God that surrounds and empowers you every day.

No matter what comes into your life, you have victory through Christ. You don't just have victory; you have overwhelming victory. You have above and beyond victory. The enemy will come against and will at times make life difficult. You will not fear or worry because you know that in Christ, you always overcome.

You can be confident that God has a plan and that there are no accidents. Everything that comes into your life has passed by the desk of God. He has placed His stamp of approval knowing He can use to for your good and His glory.

There are two ways to live the Christian life, as a slave or as an adopted child. I hope you will claim this promise today and live as a child of God.
