Don’t Be A Dead Stick (Romans 11:13–24). As the root, Christ is holy; as branches we are grafted into the holy. Christ the root supports you the branch, so abide in the root (John 15:1-8). Praise God that dead, broken off branches can be grafted back onto Life.

Deferred Oath Attainment (Romans 11:1–12). Did God reject the people of the first covenant? Not at all. God doesn’t break His promises. Did they stumble beyond recovery? By no means! Does their transgression mean riches for us?

Unrequested Revelation (Romans 10:14–21). How can we call on Christ unless we hear him in the Word? Faith comes from God speaking into your life. Through the work of the Spirit in the Word Christ is found by those who do not seek him.

Whoever Calls On (Romans 10:1–13). Zeal for your own self-righteousness is never salvation. Knowing the LORD is about our relationship with God. Then how do we profess our faith that Christ is our Master in the way we live our lives?

Unregulated Extravagant Mercy (Romans 9:19–33). God did not create us to be objects of wraths, we willed that ourselves. God uses the willful sin of this world to demonstrate His glorious patience and limitless mercy.

Unconditional Unfettered Dependency (Romans 9:1–18). God’s word does not fail. Yet we blame Our merciful God for our hard hearts we come by naturally. To be called to His mercy and glory we utterly depend upon God’s gracious will.

Unsparing Predestined Summons (Romans 8:28-39). God works through your situations so you may conform to Christ. Why worry about the opposing powers when you are Inseparable from Christ? You are no victim but are a conqueror through Christ who loves you. (cf. Isa 50:8–10)

Groaning Intercession Obligation (Romans 8:12–27). You are not obligated under the corruption of this life. As children of the Spirit groaning for new life you are obligated to hope in the Spirit who searches your heart.

Where’s Your Address? (Romans 8:1–11). If you live out of this earthly unspiritual life, you live dominated by your flesh hostile to God with no desire for God. If you live in Christ you live by the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead and are set free.

Utterly Sinful Sin (Romans 7:13–25). The real nature of sin is exposed when it uses good to do evil. The Law is used by sin to deal death. Only saints complain of the continuing struggle against sin, thus our desperate need for forgiveness.

Deadly Holy Commandment (Romans 7:1–12). Sin uses the holy Law, to deceive and induce sinners to disobey. Then sin has me and I am dead to God. But if I die to sin in Christ then I am alive.

Stop Enslaving Yourself (Romans 6:12–23). Do you still want to be ruled by sin? As one brought from death to life you don’t have to obey sin anymore. Real the benefit that gives wholeness and abundant life.  Do you let this world’s wickedness enslave you?

Stop Eating Sin (Romans 6:1–11). Do you still want to wallow in brokenness? Baptized into Christ’s death you are dead to sin and alive to God. Christ raises you so the glory of God shines in your life.

Outperforming The Offense (Romans 5:12–21). Sin started off Adam’s offense. But our human centered view blows off sin and takes no account. The Law comes to open our eyes. Opens our eyes to the grace that comes through the one obedient man, Jesus Christ.

Reconciling Do-It-Yourself-ers (Romans 5:1–11). You are made right with God through faith; trusting Jesus. Stop trying to fix your sinful self. Even when you were a rebellious enemy Christ died for you and restored you!

The Glorious Dead (Romans 4:13–25). Faith and promise mean nothing if we insist on striving. Abraham received the promise because he was as gloriously dead. Trust God who for our dead end sins delivered Christ to death and raised him to life make us alive with Christ; justified.

Son of a Ford!! (Romans 4:1–12) Belonging to the covenant of Abraham is not virtue signaling about how righteous I am. Instead the circumcision of Abraham is cutting off my own efforts and to trust in God alone. Where were you born a Christian?

Legalism Falling Short (Romans 3:21–31) God has made His rightness and majesty apparent not through legalism but through the cross. In the cross God justifies you- moving past your sin. So our Christian walk not what we do, but who we trust.

Silencing Rationalizations (Romans 3:9-20) Believers and Pagans are all in the same boat being under the power of sin. The Law of God silences our rationalizing and excusing sin. Only by the work of Christ do we become free.

Negative Proved Righteousness (Romans 2:25–3:8). What is the point of being baptized into God’s family if we still act like orphans? Yet even though we prove unfaithful and untrue, this doesn’t nullify God who is always true.

Squirrelly Self-serving Virtue (Romans 2:12–24). We’ll have to be perfect if we’re so proud of how virtuous and pious we are. No one is able to keep works righteousness on their own. Claiming to be enlightened and still disobeying makes us phony to God and others.

Malicious Corrupted Cranium (Romans 1:28–2:11). When folks don’t think God is worth their time, they give themselves over to a depraved mind and will resulting in unloving, unforgiving, and unfaithful behavior. When we repent, God imbues our hearts with mercy, love, and patience.

Unashamed Shameful Lie (Romans 1:16–27). Dismissing God we are futile in our thinking and foolish in our will. We trade in the immortal glory of the eternal God to glory (wallow) in a shame filled lie.

Gospel Set Aside (Romans 1:1-15). You are called and set apart to serve Christ. We encourage one another imparting God’s blessings. Good News for people far from God. Are ready for life infusing good news?

Wholesome Genuflection (Isaiah 66:17-24). God desires you and lifts up a sign to gather people from every background. Obstinate and persistent rejection of God, no matter its form, has the same consequences.
