Jesus' conversation with Nicodemus in John 3 is one that launches perhaps the most well-known Bible verse in all of Scripture. But the story of Nicodemus doesn't end in John 3. What vital truths can we mine out about Jesus' interaction with this religious leader? How does it press us to examine our own lives in light of these truths? 

What does Jesus' calling of the 12 say about Him, them, and the importance of the task they were to carry out? 

What was the crux of the message that Jesus preached as he emerged from the wilderness temptations? How does that press us deeper into examining the message that we share today? 

Jesus passed the test of temptation in the wilderness. How? Why was it essential that do so? What does this mean for us in Christ?

Why was Jesus baptized? What can learn about the Trinity from this passage? How should we understand our baptism in light of His? 

What role did John the Baptist play in the life and ministry of Jesus? How should we think of John's ministry in light of Christ? What should we make of his moment of doubt toward the end of his life? How does Jesus' response to John reveal his compassion and grace for our lives in our moments of doubt? 

What was Jesus doing from 12 years old to 30? From his episode in the Temple at twelve, to his public appearance in ministry, how did he spend what theologians often call his "quiet years?" In this session, we will argue that we can know from Scripture certain truths about that time period with certainty. 

In this session, we will examine the Son of God at 12 years old. What can we learn about Jesus from this passage detailing an event from Jesus' early life? 

What can we learn about the Magi, Herod the Great, and Jesus' Flight to Egypt? How does this confront us in our own response to Jesus? 

What can Mary's song in Luke 2 teach us God and His Son? How can it inform our understanding about the incarnation of the Son of God? 

In this session, we will examine the sovereignty of God in the details of the incarnation. 

Why should the doctrine of the incarnation leave us in awe of God? How should it lead us to treasure our Savior more and more? Touring John 1:14, we will examine the big ideas at the heart of the incarnation. 

Faith in Jesus is setting your house on a firm foundation. What does that faith look like? Who is this Jesus upon which our faith rests? 

Why is it vital to hold that Jesus is fully God and fully Man? How do the geneaologies of Christ found in Matthew and Luke give textual support to these truths? 

In this session, we will examine Jesus' claim to be the Son of Man. From where in the Old Testament does Jesus understand this title? How does this impact our relationship with the Lord? 

How does Isaiah's prophecy point us to a deeper understanding and adoration for "the Teacher?" In this deep dive into discipleship, we learn more about our Savior's person and work. 

As we tour Isaiah, we examine the theme of discipleship in chapters 13-30 of Isaiah's prophecy. How does these chapters point us to a deeper understanding of the Messiah?  

In this session, we will examine the claims of Christ himself. How do his words and works testify to his glorious excellencies? 

How did the people of Jesus' day view the coming of the Messiah? What misconceptions did they have? What misconceptions do we have about Jesus? 

In this session, we will examine the beginnings statements of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. How does each of the gospels paint a unique perspective of Jesus? How are they similar?

As we embark on a study through the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, we heed the summons to "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world." 

As we peer deeper into the call of discipleship, we will explore the book of Isaiah, standing in awe of the God who confronts our modern sensibilities. 

How does Jesus' definition of discipleship and calling confront our modern understanding of what it means to be a follower of Christ? 

Who were the disciples chosen by Jesus? In this episode, we explore the grace of Christ's calling the 12, what it shows us about our Lord, and what it ultimately meant for each of these followers.
