The seraphim sing before the throne, "Holy, holy, holy!" What does Scripture mean when it says that God is holy? How does understanding God's holiness help us understand His other attributes more deeply? How does God's holiness relate to our call to holiness as believers?

How does the wonderful news that God is unchanging give us confidence in trials and help us live consistent lives as believers? What does it mean that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow?

Who is James and why does his story matter? James confronts us with what faith actually looks like in the life of a believer. His words stand as a mirror in which we examine ourselves carefully, walking away with wisdom from above.

What does it mean that God is sovereign? Why is this a source of comfort to the believer? Examining the story of Joseph, we see God's sovereignty is on full display. How does Joseph's story point to a better story to come, one that brings not simply physical salvation, but spiritual? 

Can we trust Scripture? How can the believer know that Scripture is indeed the Word of God? Why is this critical for living the Christian life? In line with the arguments of Bruce, Beckwith, Grudem, McDowell, Köstenberger and Kruger, Scripture is clearly both trustworthy and true. 

God is good. The pages of Scripture proclaim His goodness. How then do we reconcile God's goodness with the evil so prevalent in the world today? 

God is not only all-powerful and all-knowing. He is also ever-present. How should this truth impact the life of a believer?

The gospel is, at its core, is a message of Christ reconciling man with God. In the book of Philemon, we see Paul modeling this very truth, standing as a mediator between Onesimus and Philemon. What does this tiny, yet massively important letter have to teach us today? 

In Paul's letter to Titus, a seasoned missionary and leader within the early church, we find a gospel-centered template and design for leadership. 

To know and trust that God is all-powerful is essential in the Christian walk. In this sermon, we will examine where the power of God is seen clearest, and what that means for us as believers.
