We're counting down our favourite 20 TV shows of 2016. We didn't really see a whole bunch of movies this year, so we're sticking with television. I can tell you of the movies I saw, I liked Hell or High Water, Captain America: Civil War, and Rogue One. Happy New Year! ~Brett

We've got a review of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, we'll talk some Golden Globes, a whole bunch of cool movie trailers, and some news about a guy with a very particular set of skills...

It's the December Movie Preview!

Brett's got a review of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, as well as a post-mortem on season 6 of American Horror Story (hint: it was excellent!), while Jeff laments the fact that The Good Place is already on a break after only nine episodes. Plus there's a host of cool movie trailers to tell you about.

It's the November movie preview, including a review of Doctor Strange. 

Are you watching the new NBC family drama "This Is Us"? If not, you should! Many are calling it the best new show of the Fall season, so we're going to discuss it. We'll also see how it, and the rest of the new shows are stacking up in the ratings so far. AND, is "Westworld" the new LOST? ~Brett

The Fall TV Preview continues, a few more shows are coming your way this week, including one of the biggest shows on TV: The Walking Dead.

This week we'll go over some more of the new shows we've been watching this Fall season, we'll preview what's new this week on TV, and despite being in season 33, Survivor continues to be solid entertainment.

It's the October Movie Preview! Surprisingly, only one scary movie this month for Halloween. Also, the fall television preview continues with nine shows to tell you about.

The Couch Potatoes Fall TV Preview has begun! SO MANY SHOWS coming up this week, we'll run through all of them and tell you about the new shows making their debut. Also -- some quick Emmy predictions ahead of the awards show on Sunday.

LOTS to talk about this week. The Fall TV season, Jeff went to see Sully, and I checked out Hell or High Water. ~Brett

Crap I forgot to load this week's show! Better late than never I suppose. This week we talk about the Netflix series Stranger Things, again -- last week we'd started watching it, this week I finished it. Jeff checked out a new reality show called Better Late Than Never, and says it's fun. It stars William Shatner, Henry Winkler, Terry Bradshaw and George Foreman. What's not to like? ~Brett

Hi there, Brett here. This week The Couch Potatoes did some binging. I started watching and got caught up on the excellent HBO murder mystery 'The Night Of', and caught up on the HBO demon-possession show 'Outcast' -- which just wrapped up last week. I'll tell you about those. Also, Jeff and I started watching the Netflix series 'Stranger Things', because we keep hearing good things about the 80s...

Jeff ventures off the beaten path this week with a review of "The Lobster", a movie now streaming about a world where if you don't find a mate by a certain age, they turn you into an animal. Also, Brett finally got around to seeing "Star Trek: Beyond", and it's excellent! 

It's the August Movie Preview! We'll tell you about all the big releases of the month, including another DC debacle, 'Suicide Squad', as well as a couple of movies that look Oscar-worthy, which is odd for the dog days of Summer. We'll also talk about how a comedian has written a Seinfeld script where he imagines how the selfish characters would react to 9/11. 

This week we've got a review of 'Jason Bourne', which should be called 'The Bourne Redundancy'. Also, we'll go through all the cool stuff to come out of Comic-Con last week -- including a surprise horror sequel

This week on The Couch Potatoes, Jeff went to see Ghostbusters this week and rather enjoyed it, so he'll share his thoughts. Also, now that I (Brett) am finished binging on Game of Thrones, I finally got around to some of the stuff piling up on my PVR, and I've got a bone to pick with one of those shows. 

Do we NEED a new Ghostbusters movie? Jeff says Why Not? Brett says Meh. Also, we'll set up a couple of HBO comedies coming this weekend -- season 2 of 'Ballers', starring THE ROCK, and the new Danny McBride comedy 'Vice-Principals'.

This week we'll tee up season 2 of one of our favourite shows from 2015, Mr. Robot. Also, Jeff reviews season 4 of Orange Is The New Black, and I'll give a quick review of a show I recently plowed through -- Banshee. ~Brett
