We have come so far during our journey through this epistle of grace. In Paul’s postscript, he leaves a final word regarding the motives of the legalists among the Galatians. And he reminds the churches in Galatia (and us) of the importance of the cross of Christ and that we are a new creation in Christ. Join us for the completion of the journey!

In the penultimate part of our journey through Paul’s epistle of grace to the churches of Galatia, we see Paul leaving some final instructions to the church—simple and good things such as helping one another, bearing one another’s burdens, conquering pride so you can help others, as well as the universal principle of sowing and reaping. Join us as we approach the end of this sermon series.

We cannot reach the end of Paul’s letter to the churches of Galatia without first examining his instructions on using our liberty in Christ to walk in the Spirit. What does it really mean to walk in the Spirit? Why is walking in the flesh dangerous? It’s time for us to understand and recognize the battle we face, so we can live as the victorious people God has called us.

Last week, we ended our study of the fourth chapter of Paul’s letter to the churches of Galatia with the truth that because we are born of the Spirit in Christ, we are children of the promise—we are children of the free! As we dive into the fifth chapter this Sunday, we will begin to see what it looks like to live free of the bondage of the Law of sin and death and live in true freedom and liberty...

In this week’s sermon, as we continue our journey through the epistle of grace, Paul appeals to the Galatians to reconsider the truth they once had. The opposing systems of Grace and Law cannot exist together as principles in our lives; there is only one true covenant.

We continue exploring the wonderful truth that we are ALL sons of God, as we begin the fourth chapter of our journey through Paul’s epistle of grace to the churches of Galatia!

This Sunday, we return to our journey through the epistle of grace, Paul’s letter to the churches of Galatia. We pick back up in the second half of the third chapter, where Paul addresses the purpose of the Law, God’s changeless promise, and our identity in Christ.
