We did this a little out of order. Last year, we talked about WEEKS. Last week, we talked about DAYS. Now, the Mikes are back to discuss Danny Boyle and Alex Garland's return to their landmark zombie universe, 28 YEARS LATER!

This week, we're electing Roy Scheider to a third term as President of the United States, in a movie with a plot suspiciously similar to a previous Scheider DTV action movie. This one's got Patrick Muldoon and it reunites Scheider with Michael Biehn - it's CHAIN OF COMMAND!

Before Mike and Mike get to talking about 28 YEARS LATER, we thought it would be fun to revisit the original. It's time to talk about the last quarter-century of zombie media that all owes a debt to Danny Boyle's groundbreaking horror movie, 2002's 28 DAYS LATER!

This week, the Mikes are checking in on the first episode of the 1999 mini-series THE SEVENTH SCROLL, a book adaptation that has a lot in common with things like THE MUMMY and INDIANA JONES. Roy Scheider stars alongside The Lawnmower Man himself, Jeff Fahey. Will we end up covering episodes 2 and 3? You decide!

It's time for another installment of Mike Makes Mike Watch! This time around, Mike D is continuing our accidental series on the films of Roland Emmerich by making Smith watch 1998's GODZILLA, while Smith is making Mike D catch up with a '90s slacker favorite, EMPIRE RECORDS!

This week, Roy Scheider appears in a surprisingly solid HBO movie detailing the making of Citizen Kane, 1999's RKO 281! Starring Liev Schreiber as Orson Welles, John Malkovich as Herman Mankiewicz, and James Cromwell as William Randolph Hearst - if you saw MANK and want to hear the Orson Welles side of the story, this is the movie for you!

It's time for an Off Mike Discussions episode! Both Mikes have thoughts on the new season of The Last of Us - plus, Smith has been watching new releases like FINAL DESTINATION: BLOODLINES, FRIENDSHIP, and ANOTHER SIMPLE FAVOR, and Mike D is catching up on UNTIL DAWN, WARFARE, THE ICEMAN COMETH, and more!
