The Common Sense Gospel

It seems like the only words that are noticed in society today, are those that harm, tear down, and destroy. Proverbs 25:11 speaks of words that are timely and beautiful to those who hear them. It is well worth our time to speak with grace and with great intention so that we might lift someone's troubled heart in their time of need.

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 In this episode, Danny and Kurt look at the challenges that come with raising children in today's world. Let's go to Scripture and apply everlasting truth to help us with sound parenting and the raising of godly children.

"Encouraging Words" from Danny and Kurt. Three great lessons from Psalm 50:15.

In this episode, Danny and Kurt will look at another question from Jesus. This time, He will ask His apostles, "Why are you so afraid?" after He calms the waves and the sea. They are afraid for the same reason that we would be afraid, and it is good for us to look at these moments in the gospels and consider our own lives when storms arise.
