In 1 Timothy 2:3-4 Paul tells Timothy, "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." In this verse, we can see God's desire for every single person who has ever lived. His thoughts are favorable toward us, He loves us, and He wants us to know the truth about Him and His Son. That's right! There a few things that the Bible tells us God cannot do. As stange as that sounds, that Almighty, all knowing, omnipotent, and omnipresent God has some things that He cannot do, and He has told us what they are. Danny and Kurt will talk about those few things and discuss what it means for us.

God has warned us about harboring bitterness and envy in our hearts. It is so destructive and it hurts everyone involved. Danny and Kurt will look at those in the Bible who were bitter and envious, and we will consider a few of those stellar characters that chose not to be. " But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast against the truth. " James 3:14

We have three great questions that were submitted to our Bible Question Box, and they all deal with the same subject. Danny and Kurt will answer those questions on this podcast. What is heaven? What does heaven look like? What will I look like in heaven?

In Joshua 1:9 the Lord tells Joshua to be strong and courageous. In this short podcast, Danny and Kurt will look at this commandment and discuss how we can be strong and courageous, no matter what is happening in our lives.

God told Ezekiel that if he did not warn the children of Israel, their blood would be on his head when they die in their iniquity. Danny and Kurt discuss this instruction from God and what it means for us. "So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me." Ezekiel 33:7

In Luke 17 , Jesus tells his apostles that if their brother sins against them seven times in one day and repents of those sins each time, they should forgive every time. The apostles respond by saying, "Increase our faith." This is when Jesus explains the relationship between the servant and the master. In 1 Timothy 3:15 , the apostle Paul refers to the church of the living God as the, "Pillar and Ground of the Truth". From this passage alone, we can see the important role that the church plays in its service to God. Danny and Kurt will discuss the role that the church plays in this world and what God has given her to do.

One of the greatest Messianic prophecies in the Old Testament is found in Isaiah 53 . This chapter looks at the crucifixion of Jesus through the eyes of believer. Each one of us is also seen and prophesied of in this prophecy. " All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the LORD has laid on Him, the iniquity of us all. " Isaiah 53:6

It is so good for us to seek the LORD! It is even better to know that He loves us and that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Psalm 34:4 says, "I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears."

AS we continue our study on children and what a blessing they truly are, we will focus in on Samuel. A very young man in Shilo who has given his heart and his service to the true and living God. What a great example he is for us and what a wonderful thing it is to speak as Samuel spoke in his youth. "Speak Lord, for your servant heareth."

Today's encouraging words come from Numbers 6:23-27. It is a priestly blessing on the nation of Israel and it has a beautiful sentiment that we can offer to our friends and loved ones today.

Children are truly a blessing! Psalm 127:3 says, "Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward." This tells us that children are a gift from God and we as parents, are stewards over their lives. Danny and Kurt will discuss this great blessing and great responsibility in part one of this episode.

There should be a strong desire in each one of us to better each and every day. When it comes to living a spiritual life, and making those necessary improvements, we can learn a lot about who we were yesterday, who God wants us to be today, and how to make those changes that need to be made so that we are pleasing to Him.

As we read from Luke 20:20-26 , we see the Pharisees and the Herodians approaching Jesus, pretending to be righteous, and asking Him one of the great burning questions of the day. "Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not?" Jesus' response to that question is awesome! Danny and Kurt will look at this question and really focus on the answer that Jesus gave to them and to us.

Showing Partiality is a very dangerous thing to do. Whether it's with our children, our friends, the rich, or the poor. God strictly forbids it in Scripture. Danny and Kurt will look at His instruction concerning righteous judgment and make the practical applications that can be found in this commandment of God.

Encouraging words from the sweet psalmist of Israel, king David. The Lord God hears our prayers, and He is mindful of those who love Him at all times. We hope you are encouraged by the word of God in this episode.

In Isaiah 9:6 , the prophet gives a vivid description of the coming Messiah. He is called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. Danny and Kurt will discuss the name, "Wonderful Counselor" and all that He has done for us. His counsel is perfect, always accurate, and it is freely given to us all.
