Starting a conversation with those who may not believe in the God of the Bible can be very difficult. In this episode, John Evans shares some great ways to reach those who may disagree with our faith. John has done a great deal of study and research on this topic and is a great resource for those who need a little help speaking to friends and family.

What about those little sins? Are they important and what is the best Scriptural way to address these pesky problems. Danny and Kurt discuss this issue and offer some helpful solutions to those little sins that need to be removed. *** Error correction, @ 21:53 it is supposed to be Jeremiah 42, not Jeremiah 49.

In response to a request, Danny spends a few minutes looking at the idea of those little sins that may be harder for us to eliminate in our lives. What does the Bible say about that and what can we do to make sure that we are right with God, even in the smallest of matters.

All joking aside, Hebrews 13:15 tells us that the sacrifice of praise that we offer to God is the fruit of our lips and we are giving thanks to His name. Danny and Kurt will discuss the singing that the church is called to do and some of the innerworkings of that commandment.

In James 3 we are told that the tongue is set on fire by hell. See what a great forest a little fire kindles. Danny and Kurt will use their tongues to discuss that dangerous little body part and how damaging it can be. When used wisely, it can also be a blessed gift.

This week Danny and Kurt will focus on the local church in Austin and discuss the many moving parts in the body of Christ and the rich blessings that come from a congregation where every part does its share. Ephesians 4:16

Danny and Kurt are very excited to share the work of the Lord's church as it is given to us in the New Testament. The church is the glorious work of God, and it is His desire that we all be a part of it and that we are all working within that body. 1 Peter 2:4-5

Danny and Kurt discuss the challenge that all believers face when it comes to friends and family that have not obeyed the gospel. How can we help? What should we say? When have we said too much? They will share their thoughts on these important questions.

In Revelation 9:11 he is called Abaddon and in Revelation 12:9 he is called the great dragon who deceives the whole world. Danny and Kurt discuss the devil and what the Scriptures teach on our malignant foe. He is very real, and he is seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8

What an amazing word to use when we are talking about Almighty God! He is omnipotent, omniscient, all powerful and immutable. Danny and Kurt will discuss this important description of the Lord and how easy it is to see the attribute in His word.

In John 14:27 Jesus tells His disciples, "Peace, I leave with you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid." As Danny and Kurt discuss this promise from the Lord, we can realize together that perfect peace is found in God and all that He has done.

There are several occasions in the New Testament where a person asks the very important question, "What must I do?" Danny and Kurt will look at some of those moments and discuss their great importance. It is in these moments that the lost sinner gets to hear about God's solution for sin.

We meet an amazing man in John 9. One of our all-time favorite accounts of a person who met Jesus, the way he responded to Him, and his response to the religious leaders in Jerusalem. This man knows one thing about the Lord, and he is able to reach the necessary conclusion on this one thing. "One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see!"

The tremendous love of God has been poured out into our hearts and Peter helps us understand how much time and effort has been dedicated the gospel message that we all love and enjoy. The prophecies of God were not for the prophets, they were for YOU!

Doubt can be spiritually debilitating. We all face it, and we all know how strong it can be when it comes to trusting in the Lord and being reassured that He cares. Danny and Kurt will discuss the darkness that doubt can bring, and they will see how Jesus deals with doubt.

This is the third and final episode out of the three "Reflections of Jesus". In this podcast Danny and Kurt look at David and the many reflections of Jesus that are found in his life. There are so many!!!

In this three-part series, Danny and Kurt look at three men in the Old Testament who are a reflection of Jesus. In some of these cases the New Testament points these reflections out to us. Other reflections are seen by reading about these men and seeing the similarities for ourselves. Thank you for joining us in this wonderful study of our Lord and King.

Danny and Kurt will look at another question from Jesus. When the rich young ruler comes to Jesus, he asks Him, "Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" We will look at Jesus response and the question that He asks. "Why do you call Me good?"

There are times in our daily Bible reading that we may think the Lord has been too harsh with someone in His judgment. Or that He may simply find joy in destroying a people or a nation. Danny and Kurt will look at this common conclusion and why it is not true. " The Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared... " 1 Peter 3:20

In this episode, Danny and Kurt look at the faith of Abraham and the faith of Isaac. Both of these men show tremendous faith as they make their way up to mountain to offer this sacrifice. God has commanded it, and we'll watch them move forward to do all the He has said.

In Paul's letter to the Ephesians, he reminds them to walk worthy of the gospel and always be mindful of the way that they walk. Danny and Kurt discuss this godly instruction and how it should be of first priority to all of us who love the Lord.

In this episode, Danny and Kurt discuss the brief moments in the life of the thief on the cross that are recorded for us in Scripture. What great lessons we can take from him, from his confession, and from the assurance of his salvation.

After David's baby dies, he goes to the house of the Lord and worships. His servants ask him why he fasted and wept while the baby was alive and now, he is eating and worshipping. David's response is so encouraging because he understands the promises of God and believes them with all of his heart.
