In this episode we are taking our first look at 1 Peter 1:14-16. Here Peter calls us to holiness, but we must first see the basis for this call - we are children of God.

In this episode we look at 1 Peter 1:4. Life in this world is profoundly insecure. We feel that insecurity deeply. The elect exiles to whom Peter wrote did as well, so Peter reminds them and us of what is true. Our security comes from the inheritance we have in Christ, and that inheritance is kept for us.

In todays episode we look at 1 Peter 1:3d and the glorious truth that God has caused us to be born again into a living hope. 2020 has been, for many of us, a year of hopelessness; however, as Christians we need not lose hope. Peter reminds the elect exiles that the Christian hope is not based on their circumstances but on the resurrection of their Savior. The same is true for us.
