The gods of this world are of our own making. Often they are a substitute for something we value more than God. Maybe it is a lifestyle, maybe it is a substance, or maybe it is someone else. But the Bible teaches they must be replaced by the one true living God.

This message in Colossians reminds us that we "have been given fullness in Christ." Christ is enough. We don't need rules and rituals to please God. We need Him alone.
