Most of us know of the children's book, "Where's Waldo?". There is a picture and setup at the beginning of book which makes it easy to spot Waldo in the pictures that follow. You know what you are looking for when you try to spot Waldo.

Are you open to learning from all sources? Do you have the humility to absorb information presented to you that is biblically accurate but from a source that is questionable? We are wired to be cautious through generalization but God does not conform to human standards, His ways are higher that ours (Isaiah 55: 8-9)

Ever wondered why Jesus loves children? Why do we love children for that matter? Are we channeling Jesus or is there something special about kids? I am sure these sound like silly questions if you are thinking, “Of course we love children, they are cute and lovable”.

How do you respond to negative stimulus? Do you let your situation change who you are channeling? James calls the tongue the rudder of the ship in James 3:4-5. How is your tongue steering you?

How do you wake up? Are you a grump or cheerful? Would you like to wake up joyful instead?

What does it mean to “guard your heart” or “Keep your heart with all diligence”? Does it mean setting boundaries for personal growth and attaining a zen-like state? My pagan friends would want to believe that, but they are wrong.

Where do you derive your strength from? When the storm of life hurls you into the throes of despair, how do you keep your calm and stay resilient?

Who is shaping you, the world or the Almighty? Are you letting the world take away the joy of following Jesus? This is a reminder that God is your potter

Christian, God is with you today. He is with you all day, everyday. I know this, not because you are good but because He is.
