Thanksgiving day, 2018.  I am thankful for my son Micaiah who lite a fire under his dad to stop talking about a podcast and got me doing it.  Coming up on the end of 4 months and going strong.  Praise God for sons, and especially Micaiah.  Thank you MIc.

The day before Thanksgiving, 2018.  Proverbs 21

Holiday Expectations and knowing what your wife wants.  Let's be clear we often do not communicate well if at all, even when we think we are.  Don't drop this ball.

Mark 8:35 (I say 8:34, but meant 35).  "For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it."  Mark 12:24  Jesus said to them, "Is this not the reason you are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God?"  Boom drop the mic.

Vision, we need to gain this from God, and communicate it clearly to our wife.

Do you get it done or are you a sluggard?   Do you fear the Lord?

Pro 14:10  Hard times in life, but being part of the community we call church helps us make it through these very hard times with joy. Seeking God's wisdom, and not hope from the government.  We should be praying for our leaders, our government weather it is "our" party or not.  Praying for the leaders of our church.

Hope deferred.  Are we making promises that we can't keep?  Maybe we are not aware of the things that we say are taken as a promise...  Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life. Word John could not say, reveres.  Yikes.  From 13:13  Whoever despises the world brings destruction on himself, but he who reveres the commandment will be rewarded....

Starting with Chapter 10, and through chapter 20, wisdom from Solomon to his son. This verse that, good verse evil.   Proverbs 12:4  "An excellent wife is the brown of her husband..." Billy Graham read a proverbs a day, for many years, maybe most of his life. Develop good and Godly habits.
