God is most glorified when we imitate the sort of life that would lay down its own rights for the sake of others.

We are prone to worship many things (idols) but we are called to flee from those idols and focus our attention on our true and faithful God.

Paul uses his Life as a living example of laying down our "rights" for the blessings and benefits of others. All preferences and rights are worth giving up to bring others to Jesus.

God calls us to lay down our rights for the good of building up our brothers and sisters.

The big idea of this sermon is that singleness is not a junior varsity position in God's kingdom.

God calls people who are in all stages of life to faith in him and instructs them to remain faithful wherever they are called.

Marriage is a covenant (between one man and one woman) that should reflect the selflessness and faithfulness exampled by Jesus.

Our bodies belong to Christ, so what we do with them is important. We are going to look at two arguments the Corinthians are making about their sex lives, then three theological truths.

Week 9 we look at 1 Corinthians 6:1-12 and learn how as Christians we should deal with conflict and grievances.

This passage is a case study of when the church doesn't take sin seriously (1 Cor 5). We must take sin seriously for our own health and the health of the church

In chapter 4 we are taught to look to not just the instruction, but also the example of the Apostle's way of life as we live out our faith. The Apostle's example confronts and corrects our pride.

This passage is aimed at the influencers building the local expression of the church in Corinth. Paul is directing them to build the Church well with care.

When receiving God's wisdom, we can impact the world around us through a Christ center perspective.

Our 3rd week in 1 Corinthians where we are diving into the last few verses of chapter 1. Christ is the wisdom and power of God!

The primary problem with the Corinthian church, and the main reason Paul writes the letter, is division. Messy Christians today must continue to fight against needless divisions.

Week one in our new series where we are going through the book of 1 Corinthians. There is good news for messy Christians. This good news is not based on the moral performance of the church on earth, but the absolute faithfulness of God in heaven.

In week 3 we look to Ephesians 4: 11-32 to see what it is like to live as a community on mission!

We will be in eager and intelligent pursuit of the presence, power, fruit and gifts of God's Spirit, as mentioned in the Bible. We believe that all believers should heed the Biblical call to be filled with the Spirit and re-filled with the Holy Spirit, throughout their lives.

The gospel is good news for everyone and is the center of our salvation. As Christians we are called to live gospel centered lives and not be spiritual zombies.
