We get a glimpse of the glorious savior that leads us to see the glorious work that He has done.

The normal Christian life requires us to confess Jesus is Christ, accept His death and resurrection, and die to self to find new life in Christ.

Jesus is patient with us when we stumble or forget how faithful He is, but the responsibility is on us to follow as closely as we can to Jesus as we learn to grow.

We should never void the Word of God by holding tradition above truth

In the story of Jesus walking on water, we can see Jesus wants to remind us of just how dependent we are on him, and how that dependence should lead to a deepening of our faith and trust in Jesus.

Through the pretty well known story of the feeding of the 5,000, we can find that we need to rest, recognize, and realize.

Jesus called ordinary men to believe the gospel and follow Him into an extraordinary work. As disciples of Jesus, we must also redefine our purpose to become fishers of men and join Him in His work to reach others.
