Bear with the sound for 30s, it is great from there on out. Philip Janz was our speaker this morning. He was sharing on the progressive revelation of God from apparently violent to non-violent as can be read through the passages from the lectionary today.

Lori den Engelsen took part via a video recording and Sherry Sinclair joined us live and they both brought their experience and story to our learning space this weekend. Eden Jersak was our host and Lando Klassen led our communion. 

Katherine Murray was our guest speaker taking us on a reflection through the beatitudes as a way to live using her stories from a visit to Palestine.

Bradley Jersak shared on Jesus' teaching 'love your enemies' moving from ideology to love, from us/them culture wars to mercy, justice, and forgiveness. There was a lot. We have included the Q&R this week as there was as much good stuff in that portion of our morning as in the main message and we didn't want you to miss out on the gold.

We heard from Ruth Chesterman and Karol Berry telling their stories and the hurt they have experienced in their church journeys. Sarah Pickering talked about her why for the development of the Bridge to being an affirming church.

Sarah Pickering leads us in a visio divina featuring two icons - The Trinity by Andrei Rublev (15th Century) and Kelly Latimore (modern iconographer) Lando Klassen leads us in communion and Kathy Klassen takes us on an exploration of the Trinity and engages us in conversation. Taryn Polishchuk spoke on Pentecost Sunday. She asked some really good questions about Jesus, about why he came, the Holy Spirit... and much more besides.  The poem Sarah used as a prayer at the beginning is 'I breathe this moment' by Danna Faulds

Sarah led us through our Lent focus and Eden took us through communion. Lando Klassen spoke on Palm Sunday and Jesus moving at the speed of a donkey.
