But the divide on that issue is probably bigger than wherever we are with our negotiations with the ‘Well Imamers’ in Iran.

The biggest storyline in Florida’s political scene continues to be the state’s blue counties becoming far less blue. Palm Beach County represents one of the most significant shifts in the state. Early in this midterm election year, changes in voter registrations will be the most visible sign of political trends within the state. 

As we reflect on those we’ve lost, please remember the families of our fallen as well. The average age of the fallen is 39; the average tour-of-duty is 10 years. In addition to losing 40 law enforcement professionals in the line-of-duty this year, there are 24 widows and 43 children who’ve lost a parent. Remember to back the badge and spread the word. They need us just as much as we need them. 

The bottom line is that what we’re seeing playout right now isn’t sustainable. Something will give, and if it isn’t a resolution to conflicts overseas rather quickly, it will be the economy domestically. Let’s pray that’s not the case and that some serious deal making moves the needle. After all, with 47% of the country’s oil coming through the Strait of Hormuz, China wants resolution with Iran ev...

If Florida eliminates homesteaded property taxes, those who benefit most are those who either already are homesteaded property owners and those who already own property here that could become homesteaded. Those who would seek to relocate here after the policy impact would see less inventory available, and higher prices they’d have to pay for homes impacting the affordability dynamic for many.

Of Florida’s 67 counties – only 8 currently have Democrat majorities by way of voter registration. It's clear that the trends that were in place prior to 2024’s election cycle have continued to play out after it as well.
