App State football comes up short even after a hard fought championship game against a good Louisiana team. Any time you're on top there's always someone dedicating their careers to knocking you down. Thankfully we're in a great position to be back on top soon. App State football travels to Lafayette to play the Ragin Cajuns for the 7th time in four years. App State and Georgia Southern are always in the mood to fight. Unfortunately for the Stinky Birds, Georgia Southern has lacked serious firepower for a while.  Great performances by super seniors like Jalen Virgil, Thomas Hennigan, Malik Williams, Demetrius Taylor, and Kaiden Smith along with a huge Thanksgiving crowd gave us an incredible sendoff of the 2021 regular season. 

App State wrapped up the East Division title last week but still has unfinished business to take care of against Georgia Southern. This game is always a battle regardless of any team's record. App State football clinched the SBC east and a date in Lafayette for the championship. It was a tale of two halves, though, that ultimately ended up in a total beat down thanks to the defense. 

App State football heads down to Troy to continue a conference winning streak and solidify the east division outright. We also breakdown the last two men's basketball games including the incredible matchup vs ETSU on Friday night. 

App State football won a blustery game against South Alabama and is now a full game ahead in first place of the east division.  Turnovers reared their ugly head again but coming away with a multiple-possession victory at home is always fun.

App State beat the posers from Conway on a beautiful Wednesday night. We break down the entire game and bask in the glory of App State being on top of the east. 

The week of the Coastal game has arrived. App State has waited for this matchup for nearly a year. The winner of this matchup is in the driver's seat to represent the east in the SBC championship game.  We have Zac Thomas in the #BGPMailSatchel and WBTW's Chris Parks in the BGP Lounge.
