This week on The Biofriendly Podcast we welcome our guest, Turner Nguyen, who has managed everything from full-service dining to fast casual in the Food Service Industry for over 20 years. Turner brings a lot to the table as he shares his insight with Noel and Jacob on sustainable choices, how takeout is transforming for the better, and whether or not we can replace everything with pasta. 

This week we welcome our guest engineer, scientist and inventor, Michael Carroll. Mike shares a little bit about the incredible work his company, Helios Altas, is doing with hydro-powered energy in remote places around the world in need of power. We also discuss the current state of renewable energy, how water dams are theme parks for fish, and wind energy is not for the birds. 

When most of us picture the word 'farm' we imagine acres of outdoor land with Old MacDonald and his many noise-making animals, but what about the world of cultivating crops indoors? This week, Noel and Jacob present some of the ways people are planting in shipping containers, shelves and even a NASA inspired futuristic rotating sphere for your kitchen!

As we all continue to adapt to life indoors, the planet is seeing less air pollution, clearer waters and wildlife returning to their habitats. On this week's podcast, Noel and Jacob discuss the positive environmental changes from our quarantine and learn that Jacob knows everything about dolphins. 

In the first official 'podcast from home' episode, Noel and Jacob ZOOM right in to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set forth by the United Nations and share all the ways they hope to save the planet as long as Noel survives this quarantine.
