Sadly, a centuries old practice of seeking to circumvent God’s plain laws of marriage has involved perverting the Scripture’s teachings regarding the matter. Following the footsteps of Jesus, this episode appeals to the author of the marriage institution and His written word on the subject.

God is the designer of the beautiful arrangement known as marriage. From the beginning, the Creator intended for one man to be joined to one woman in sacred matrimony for life. This episode boldly affirms God’s marriage design.

God is the author of the institution known as the home. In the Bible He has provided humanity with a clear picture of what the family is, how it is structured, and how it functions. Family is designee to be beautiful, not disfunctional - and can be when done God’s way.

According to God Himself, the channel of Divine authority in our lives is His written word (2 Tim. 3:16-17). A disregard for the Holy Scriptures is tantamount to a disrespect for God.

The Sermon on the Mount’s 1st major point (Matt. 5:17-48) concerns itself with hermeneutical principles. Jesus was adamant that men handle God’s Holy Scriptures correctly. Entrance into and blessings associated with the kingdom of heaven depend upon it.

This series is designed to examine what Jesus taught, and how He interacted with certain people and handled certain situations. Years ago it became popular to ask, “What would Jesus do?” The fact is, we can know what Jesus DID!
