Have you ever gotten what you did not deserve? Maybe it was a punch in the face, or abuse? Sometimes we can blame God when suffering happens. But what about being blessed when we did not earn it? Maybe it was a check in the mail or maybe it was forgiveness. What if we did not believe or receive that gift? We would still be indebted. Some believe in karma, others bad luck, but the truth is that in this life we will all reap what we sow. But God. His grace covers us and though we will suffer consequences in this life as we live in a fallen world, we ultimately don't get what we truly deserve. God is inviting us to believe in Him when things seem impossible. We can choose to trust in ourselves or others or in outcomes, or in God.
