The BCP and Me

Picking up where they left off from last Episode Father Tyler and Father Joshua continue through the Triduum with Good Friday. There are highlights of hope, joy, mystery, and expectation within the liturgy itself. Good Friday has a lot of good to it, if we would stop to meditate on the fullness of the service.

Father Tyler and Father Joshua dive into the liturgy for Maundy Thursday. The first service in the three-part liturgy of The Triduum focuses on self-sacrificial service and love, and involves the sensual as well as the sacred. There's also a fair amount of talk about washing feet and the defense of the practice.
