The Bar is Low with Myke and Mo

Mo is taking a trip to Chicago, so we talk about that.  A lot.  And also a little about  Myke's trip to St. Croix.  And a little New Orleans.  Good stuff in the episode.  But the bar's still super low.

It's a pearly, jammy, pudding filled morning.  And thank goodness, William Shatner is still alive.  We're serving up some softballs this morning but can't seem to hit over the bar.

The guys try out candidates to be the official podcast hot sauce!  But first Myke's got a problem with his jeans and Mo's got an issue with his favorite pink shirt.  Then it's movie sequel chat and Christmas in March!  And some more stuff that keeps the bar close to the floor.

Mo sharpens his Blades to tingle your spidey senses out at the ballgame!  Then Myke's got some pet peeves to get off his chest before they take YOUR historic phone calls (at 631-7-MYKEMO).  Pandemic nearing its end, hurry up and learn a hobby!  Bar = low.

Mo surprises Myke with a spicy treat leading the guys discuss official state foods.  But first the guys take some target practice and that'll leave you feelin' hot hot hot as the bar goes low low low.

Before taking a stroll down memory lane, Mo has a few things he needs to get off his chest and Myke is guilty of breaking some unwritten rules.  Bar, meet low.

The bar was certainly low in 2020... both on the podcast and in real life!  So the guys are gonna talk about that, and some other stuff... mainly soup.  Cuz it's the time of year for soup.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It's Chanukkah, so naturally, Santa stops by the show.  Would he rather sleep in a dumpster or a porta potty?  The bar is so low we might need to be censored... there are certainly Nomar shows out there like this one!

The guys discuss what exactly qualifies as "a Christmas movie", then Myke feeds soap to a child and Mo can't get enough Mandalorian.  That and a whole lot more.  Tis the season to lower the bar just a smidge!

Mo's surprise backfires!  The guys discuss doctors, asterisks and things get hot when they bargain for their big toes.  Get out and vote, or the bar will get even lower!

Myke saw something really gross in New York City, so of course, the guys talk about the city and gross things they've seen.   Then we lower the bar as a caller asks the guys about their least favorite state... so instead the break break down all fifty of em.

Myke & Mo return to debate chunky vs. creamy peanut butter , get twitchy over video games , come up with some "would you rather eradicate Covid or..." scenarios , go retro with computers and relive their favorite moments .  You could raise the bar and buy Mo's book, or keep it low and share this pod with your friends.  (or do both!)

The guys injure themselves in embarrassing fashion, listeners call in with some jokes (to win the hat contest), we take a look back into "Bar is Low" podcast history and play some "would you rather?"  Lowering the bar is our thing. 

Mo licks a battery and plays a trick on Myke. Then Batman hitchhikes a ride home so we take a cruise through Gotham City and a detour through the Wild Wild West. Grab some chicken wings but don't let your fingers get sticky, the bar gets lower than low!

Mo walks so much his feet just can't deal. Then the guys exchange tips about their gardens, continue the hat challenge, and then farts. And more farts. The bar is low.

Mo brings a challenge for breakfast as  Myke explores an all new sound board in the studio.  Then the guys play a bar game, chew on meats vs meat substitutes & get down on movie soundtracks!

Isolation continues as Mo get Tik Tok famous and has a new pen pal from the world of wrestling.  Then Myke has a  wrestling happy hour and watches  Chinese baseball .  Best wishes to CoVIN-19... wow, that inside joke lowers the bar even more!

Your ears are isolated no more!  Tom Brady might be gone but the boys are back!  And in quarantine mode!  Mo finds an Atari 2600 ,  Myke  has taken to  Twitch Streaming , and  sliced condiments are now a thing....?  Stay home, stay healthy, and stay listening to podcasts!

It's the long awaited  Chubby Bunny Faceoff!  The guys try to break their personal records, mash up some shows, wrestle with wrestling personas and talk pizza, pickles and pineapple.  Anyone got a shovel?  The bar is so low we gotta dig it up from the ground.

The guys offer up free cannolis , dish out some pronunciation pet peeves , get down on some rainy day activitie s and slice into pizza .  Several times.  This week's episode is almost better than tying up the kids to watch late night HSN.  Almost.

The guys introduce a new sponsor , a spicy challenge is brought to the table, roll some oats , have toddler problems and answer a ton of calls.  This is what modern technology was made for... lowering the bar!

We listen in on Mo sleeping (not creepy), debate ghosts and aliens (kinda creepy) and dive into apps on the guys' phones (very creepy).  Plus a caller calls out Mo, stupid holidays grind Myke's gears.  It's as exciting as wearing the league insignia to a sporting event, prepare to swag up and lower the bar!

The guys get some  gifts , share more celeb encounters, relive some traditions and talk a lot of trash.  To eachother and to all of you!  It's a new show for a new year and the bar is low low low!  Jump on it!
