Movies are often a product of their times. Today we’re going to discuss movies that would have a hard time getting the green light from the studio these days for various reasons. Join us for a deep discussion.

Today is a movie heavy episode as we only talk about The Floor for the small screen. Then we head to the long form to bring you reviews fo Zone of Interest, American Fiction, Wonka and John and Glenn discuss their viewing of all the live action shorts nominated for an Oscar.

As the annual Academy Awards ceremony approaches we go over this year’s nominees and we bring back an old feature where we pick a year and decide if the Academy got it right.
