The Auxiliary Unplugged

Our intrepid heroes sit down and predict the future, the utopia and evil twin dystopia all on the same coin, just depending on how you want to look at it.   Secrets early and late in the episode.    Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

Pondering how future us will consume entertainment and what that might look like.   Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

Haleion and JWhit did a recipe swap. JWhit brought a random Korean recipe, and Haleion brought his MawMaw's poundcake.   Poundcake Recipe: Korean Pork: https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/dwaejigogi-bokkeum   There was a glitch during the recording at around the 55 minute mark, and Haleion's audio was fixed as well as it could.   Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

I was told I was supposed to label this Not Safe For Work.    Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

The team discusses the tropes, pitfalls, science behind, and favorite usages of time travel.  Also, MrJ pitches a new time travel children's movie franchise.   On another note, I think we FINALLY made an episode where we didn't bring up Star Wars even once.   Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

The gang sits down to discuss what cyberpunk is, where it comes from, what it isn't, and how they would cyberpunk other settings. At this point, you should just expect us to bring up Star Wars no matter what the topic is.   Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

Star Wars is only slightly mentioned! All of the tangents are visual media! It's impressive!    Unrelated Further Reading: https://www.cs.drexel.edu/~bls96/museum/cardiac.html https://sciresol.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/IJST/Articles/2013/Issue-6%20Supplementary/Article9.pdf https://www.tlc.unipr.it/bononi/ricerca/BVFB_ptl_98.pdf https://twitter.com/kenshirriff/status/1673795601010511877   Auxi, A...

The Aux is turning 1 and to celebrate, two of our intrepid heroes sit down with special guests who were there at it's conception. Join us as the curtain is pulled back and the secret origin of WPBL76 (and thus the Aux ) is revealed. Also, a wrench was dropped,...don't worry about it.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIdhvX14jIU   Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

We sit down and chat about the internet, how to live in it, how we handle frustrating situations, and what to do about dealing with the internet.

We talk about food, our hopes and fears, and what we would eat. I swear we'll talk about specific recipes one of these days.   Unrelated Further Reading: https://chipsandcheese.com/2023/05/28/arms-cortex-a53-tiny-but-important/ https://www.iue.tuwien.ac.at/phd/hollauer/   Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

What our intrepid cast would do, given the awesome weight and might of being a writer in one of their favorite setting.   Unrelated Further Reading: https://www.depauw.edu/sfs/backissues/80/wong80art.htm https://www.laserfocusworld.com/test-measurement/research/article/16556791/diamondbased-led-emits-ultraviolet-light https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/7_nm_lithography_process   Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

We chat about robots, androids, and naturally what it means to be human and enslave non-sentient beings.   Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

We're mostly on track this time around. Talk'n about what is power armor, what isn't, and everything else like all that. You know.   Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

We talk about zombies, both with our big brain, and our mindless brain. Jibs, jokes and jabs occur.   Unrelated further reading: https://zmatt.net/mems-oscillator-frequency-increase-from-helium/ https://www.righto.com/2023/04/reverse-engineering-8086-divide-microcode.html https://hackaday.com/2023/04/22/op-amp-contest-clever-continuity-tester-tells-you-where-the-problem-is/   Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

We sit down and talk about some of our favorite older movies. What each person defines as old is personal, and try not to be rude about it. Also Yojimbo is a wonderful movie, Kurosawa knows how to frame a picture.   Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

Cons. The good, the bad, the really good and the really bad. Nerds gathering in the before time and currently. And anyone who's been to one has stories about them.       Auxi, Auxis, Auxim

We sit down and talk about how make Star Trek sillier.
