Fear Mitigation 27.03.2021 5:54
While it seems impossible to get rid of fear, there are ways to lessen it. This episode won't dive too much into the process, but rather its goal is to get you to conceptually understand the importance of facing your fears. That is, in itself, the only way to mitigate fear.
Making Connections 27.03.2021 3:56
I've been hiking a lot lately. Often when I call my friends to join me, they're hesitant as they generally have never met the other people I take with me. What we often don't realize, though, is how easy it is to connect with people. It's one of humanity's specialties.
Testing Balance 27.03.2021 3:41
All of us take tests. Tests of life, tests that people give us, and just challenging things in general. But we often feel very mentally sporadic when doing so. We put in a lot of work to get where we are, and rightfully so, we are nervous and apprehensive if our work will pay off. So here's my story on how important having mental balance was for me in a test I've been worrying about all month.
Listening to Your Body 25.03.2021 3:25
We often, when asked about what we find important, always have great answers. But we leave one thing out... OUR BODY It is the most important thing in our possession and to make it to where we want to be we need it to be in good shape and health. So we gotta listen to it.
YOU MATTER 24.03.2021 11:26
I had a terrible tennis match today and was mentally defeated. I didn't want to make today as unproductive as yesterday so I made the choice to make a change. Here is the result of that choice.
Talking. Matters. 22.03.2021 2:45
Did a ton of things today that required me to talk. I loved all of these experiences and adventures because I had great "auditorial" (pun intended) experience. Recording a video made me realize how important being able to speak really is. Knowing when and how to talk seems superficial, but it really isn't. Throw yourself into things that will make you talk. It will all be worth it.
Can I Reproduce What I Have Already Produced? 22.03.2021 6:00
I've always grappled with this thought. The question of "can I make success consistent?" Of course the simple answer is no. But we all wish it was a yes. I came across a poem by Rupi Kaur today that sparked this thought back inside of me. Here it is... (if you're not a reader, I say it too :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- little poet it seems like the more...
Beauty in 5k 21.03.2021 8:30
If you know me, you know this. If you don't, you're about to find this out. I love running. I love every single thing about it. In this little clip, I go over an experience I had when running a 5k and how running as a whole has shaped me. Check out my article on it for a deeper perspective... http://tinyurl.com/arivrun
Other People’s Successes Are Not Your Failures 19.03.2021 9:59
They're not. I think at the end of the day we've gotta believe in our potential. Stop comparing yourself to the people around you. You are too unique to be compared.
Generalize 18.03.2021 6:15
Here's something I was thinking about last night. Why is there such a negative stigma around doing a ton of things? Sure it might lead to lack of direction, but here's the thing... Not everyone has direction. Not everyone knows who they want to be. People deserve to try. And they should be able to try what they want and explore what they want. Many of us find our true love through a series of, as...
Lying 17.03.2021 5:01
Why do we lie? WHYYYYY! I might sound whiny, but that's because I am. This shouldn't be a normal thing. We need to foster a space where people can feel comfortable with flat out saying they don't feel comfortable sharing information. We need to not lie. Lying has the potential to mess up our future. Telling the truth will not, and it'll save you from a bigger mess than could exist.
Freed 15.03.2021 4:58
You know what it is, I'm back with another late night impulsive podcast ;) This time it's on freeing yourself. Feeling free is so important. Often we never have time to disconnect. Visit places you love and let your heart run wild. Do what you feel like, but don't bother thinking. Save that for another time :)
Confidence 14.03.2021 3:54
Got back from a speech performance. Felt uncertain. But it doesn't matter! There's no reason to think you're not enough in the eyes of the person in front of you until they say it to your face. And if they do... NEVER stop loving yourself. Stay confident, always.
Sleep 13.03.2021 5:54
I've had a weird couple weeks. Couldn't leave it all in my head, so figured I'd throw it out here. I've noticed one trend in these weeks, and that is sleep. You've gotta get it. And you can't just get it, you've gotta really get it. Sleep! It's worth every minute.
Acceptance 10.03.2021 8:36
Just came back from an incredible talk with a teacher at school. Learned a ton about all things acceptance. Accepting who you are. Accepting who you make yourself. Accepting success. Accepting happiness. Accepting life in general. Enjoy the journey with me :)
Worry 10.03.2021 6:27
Humans worry! It's perfectly normal... but should it be? How can we push past this boundary of worry and dread at the thought of an event happening? I. have. absolutely. no. idea. :( But let's figure it out together ;)
Pilot 10.03.2021 1:30
Welcome to the "Pilot" episode of The Auditorial, a podcast where I note down my life experiences and events in hopes of looking back at them and remembering the times I had as "young me." Join me on this journey and let's grow together :)
