John 4:23-24 (KJV) 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.

This weekend we celebrate 5 years of revival at Pentecostal Tabernacle. Here are a few observations on the dynamics necessary to develop a culture of revival in a local church.

Scientist are discovering new states of matter that have never previously been seen. These discoveries are the result of newfound abilities to create extreme laboratory conditions. This is a metaphor for leadership. The extreme world conditions that leaders are navigating will produce leadership that will rise to meet the challenges of culture.

Beware the dangers of isolation. Solitude is God called. Isolation is flesh driven. Theology developed in isolation produces error.

We are living to see the unrestrained rise of self in society. Self-help books promise an edge on the competition. However, while society rewards self, God blesses the humble.
