Does God have three wills for us--sovereign, moral, and individual? Most Christians say yes to all three, but Garry Friesen argues that Scripture doesn't teach that God has an individual will for each of us that we must discover.

Douglas Groothuis, a terrific thinker, writer, and teacher, has a good book that deals with incendiary cultural topics. In this podcast, I go over his preface and introduction, which explores critical race theory.

David Snoke looks at ways people have interpreted Genesis and comes to the conclusion that the earth and the universe are ancient. This podcast deals with his reasons why he thinks Noah's flood was a localized event rather than a world-wide event.

This massive book has been a surprise best-seller. Chapter 23 explores the problem of natural evil, showing the shortcomings of theistic evolution to explain this.

James Emery White has written an interesting book aimed at answering questions people might have about  Christianity. Chapter 1 discusses reasons for believing in the existence of God.

This book, which has garnered a lot of attention, deals with how we should live in a post-Christian America. Aaron Renn says we need to focus on three key domains of our evangelical life: personal, institutional, and missional. This podcast looks at the first of these three areas.

Chuck Colson says in this book that salvation is a free gift--but it costs everything. He then tells the story of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and relates this to all of us.
