The Ann & Phelim Scoop

On today's episode of the Virus we discuss the media's continued attempts to make Governor Andrew Cuomo (aka Governor Hot Spot) the hero of the coronavirus story.  That could not be further from the truth.  Governor Hot Spot is under much scrutiny for how his executive orders may have led to the deaths of hundreds (if not thousands) of nursing home patients in New York.  Now he's tr...

In today's episode we revisit the Los Angeles County mask requirements and the little tyrants who have put them in place.  It's been about day since the mask requirement was put in place and so far - people appear to be silently protesting.  Even at the beach where masks are mandatory for all beachgoers many have chosen not to wear one.  Also on today's episode we take a look at the...

Panic!  Panic!  Panic!  The curve has flattened in almost every U.S. city and state and now the government is doing all they can to keep the fear and panic going.  Our Mayor in Los Angeles has now implemented a mandatory mask order when you leave your house in Los Angeles.  The lockdown started over 9 weeks ago.  So why now?!  Many public officials are starting t...

Today we update you on the latest draconian lockdown measures in Southern California that are punishing taxpayers while letting the homeless off the hook.  We’re also joined by undercover journalist James O’Keefe of Project Veritas, who discusses his latest explosive story exposing CBS. James really is one of the best journalists operating in the US these days. Southern Californians have been...

As you may recall, we have been waiting anxiously to get our beach access back in Los Angeles.  After much anticipation, the county has announced they will open this week . . . but with strings attached!  If you want to go the beach in Los Angeles you must be engaging in active activities - no sitting!  And if you are not in the water - you must wear a mask.  This latest order...

In today's episode we take a very evenhanded look at the "Plandemic" video that has been spreading through social media like wildfire.  As documentary filmmakers, we examine some of the strengths and weaknesses of the film and what could have made the film more credible.  But we know one thing for sure - we cannot trust the film's major critics!  The mainstream media has rushed to d...

Instead of working on public health guidelines or helping businesses reopen, the San Antonio City Council has decided that it's much more important to regulate the speech of their residents.  Phrases like the "Chinese Virus" and the "Kung Fu Flu" could be banned under guidelines under consideration by city councilors.  This is a very slippery slope that could encourage other "woke" citie...

On today's episode of the Daily Virus we talk about Shelley Luther, the woman who was jailed for opening her Dallas salon.  Good news - since recorded she has been RELEASED!  We talk about the madness that has led us to freeing inmates and jailing business owners.  This has got to stop.   Los Angeles has FINALLY announced that they will be easing their lockdown . . . but it's n...

This week, we bring you two very exciting interviews. First, we’re joined by journalist and commentator Heather MacDonald, and Alana Goodman of The Washington Free Beacon stops by to reveal how the liberal media is conspiring to cover up a possible murder.    Watch: https://youtu.be/qJgnufXn0F8 Heather MacDonald joins us from the COVID-19 epicenter New York City and she warns that New Yo...

Governors in states like California are claiming their lockdowns are purely based on science . . . but as time goes on and governors are forced to cave on their draconian measures it is becoming even more clear that the lockdowns are purely political.  In California we were awarded a small victory yesterday when Governor Newsom announced we would be moving on to Phase 2 of the reopening. &nbs...

On today's episode we talk about the ever changing goal posts of the lockdowns.  From what began as "flattening" the curve has turned into "crushing" the curve.  What comes next?  Our hospitals are NOT overwhelmed and many are expected to file for bankruptcy.  We discuss the governors like Kate Brown in Oregon who have decided lockdown until JULY with very few deaths/hospitaliz...

The Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, was once seen as a dreamy establishment liberal politician.  But now Governor McDreamy is taking a hard turn to Governor McFascist.  Newsom upset millions of Americans across the state when a leaked memo said he would close beaches and parks across the state.  In yesterday's press conference, he was forced to recant his order and close the b...

Tomorrow is May!  Finally!  It's been a long month, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.  On today's episode we discuss Governor Cuomo's massive mistake in not closing New York City's metro.  According to his statements yesterday . . . he's starting to admit that "public transportation" could have a huge role in spreading the virus.  Duh! His administration announc...

On today's episode of the Scoop we have a very special guest!  Toby Young joins us all the way from across the pond!  Toby is the General Secretary of the Free Speech Union and he also runs a fantastic website called LockdownSkeptics.org.  He also is an incredibly talented British political commentator and he is the former head of the New Schools Network.    We discuss wit...

It seems like everyone is out for capitalism in today's troubling times.  On today's podcast we begin with a story from the New York Times that shows their continued efforts to try and put a stop to the reopening of our economy.  It seems like the mainstream media does not want our country to reopen anytime soon.  And why is that?  Most likely it's because the longer we wait to...

We hope you had a great weekend.  In today's episode we talk about more failures of the New York Times.  As their virus coverage continues, we continue to see how the Times is much more concerned with slamming Trump than they are with doing real journalism.  We examine a few articles from over the weekend that show their growing bias and their sympathies with the CCP.  You may...

As the virus coverage continues, it's becoming more clear that the response to the Wuhan Virus is largely political.  Earlier this month a Michigan lawmaker thanked President Trump for publicizing the benefits of hydroxychloroquine after it saved her life during her battle with the Wuhan Virus.  Now her party is moving to censure her and is threatening  to withhold their endorsement...

In today's episode we cover the skyrocketing unemployment numbers that have left millions of Americans out of work.  Will we bounce back?  We are optimists so we hope so! It's time to reopen the economy.  This has gone on long enough.  Certainly metropolitan areas like New York City will need to open slower than the rest of us - but the majority of the country is not seeing the...

On this episode, we’re joined by not one but TWO exciting guests - Mollie Hemingway and Marc Morano! We are so excited to have our dear friend Mollie Hemingway on the podcast again this week. Mollie is a senior editor at The Federalist and a wonderful journalist. As many of you know, she is the inspiration for the blogger character in our movie Gosnell! From her own “home studio,” Mollie joins us...

Last night's  Monday night news dump left the left very very angry as Trump announced that America will halt immigration as we battle the coronavirus.  The "close everything" crowd is of course up in arms, calling the move "racist."  It's truly remarkable how the mainstream media and activist left are able to hold such double standards.  Yesterday Los Angeles came out with some...

This weekend thousands of Americans across the country protested their state, county, and city lockdown laws.  Several notable cities along the California coast held protests including San Clemente and San Diego.  More and more people are starting to protest the draconian laws like the ones Michigan.  This weekend we took a stroll alongside Venice Beach in California and the police...

On today's virus we discuss President Trump's plan to re-open America.  It relies heavily on the input and direction from governors and gives the states the power to safely re-open their states.  But does it give states too much power?  How many governors will be dragging their feet to make a political point?  We examine Trump's new guidelines and take a look at the states who...

Today's episode is a bit longer than normal - but that's because there's so much to talk about!  Today we examine Trump's decision to withdraw funding from the WHO.  Although he's received criticism from many in the mainstream media and folks like Bill Gates - we explain why this was a good move.  Very few understand the global politics of the WHO which greatly favor China.  Th...

Our first guest is none other than Dean Cain!  You may know Dean from his roles in Superman, The Gosnell Movie, God's Not Dead, and many more!  Dean discusses how he’s spending his time in “quarantine” and how his family pets have taken to the change. He also suggests which four of his movies you should watch while you’re stuck at home. You won’t want to miss it! Dean also reminisces abo...

Today we examine a topic that seems to be lost among the COVID-19 conversation - the difference between doctors, politicians, and economists.  Comments made by Dr. Anthony Fauci have been met with criticism from the right and the left - but it's important to remember he is not an elected leader . . . he is not an economist . . . he is a doctor who is trying to protect public health.  We...
