The Alternative

From Genesis 4:6-7, Eddie Williams shared a sermon entitled, Antidote for An Unhealthy Heart. Eddie argued, "The Lord God will not accept or reward no great acts coming from an unhealthy heart."

From Genesis 2 and 3, Eddie Williams shared a sermon entitled, Antidote for Shame (Nakedness). Eddie argued, "The Lord can use anyone for His glory despite the sin committed".

In this final message from the prophetic book of Habakkuk, Eddie Williams argues from Habakkuk 3 that "God's way can be trusted, for His way is always right."

In this fifth installment of our series through the book of Habakkuk, Eddie Williams taught about God's timing which is far different that man's timing.

God's people must live godly lives in a godless world. This was the aim or challenge the Lord gave to the prophet Habakkuk, in Habakkuk 2:4b. In light of the godless people and nation, Babylon, the righteous must live by their faithfulness in this context.

The Lord works through human sinfulness to reveal Himself to all people. This is the aim of the lesson from Habakkuk 1:5-11.

God does not tolerate or overlook wrongdoings. This is the aim or argument in Habakkuk 1:12-2:1.

This week, we begin a brand new series through the prophetic book of Habakkuk entitled, #WHY. This first week, Eddie Williams preached from Habakkuk 1:1-4, from a sermon entitled: Angry, But Trusting. The emphasis of the lesson was, trusting the Lord's sovereign work when it does not align with our expectations.

On resurrection Sunday, Eddie Williams preached from John 20:11-29, from a sermon entitled: Encountering the Risen Lord. Where the emphasis was on, an encounter with the risen Lord makes a difference in an individual's life.

Where the punch line was, "Healthy practices among members build great and healthy churches".

In this sixth installment of our #ENOUGH series through the epistle of Colossians, Eddie Williams taught from Colossians 3:18-4:1; from a sermon entitled, "#Represent." Where the punch line of the sermon was, "A changed life must properly represent Christ in all areas of life", including the home and workplace in a particular way. 

In this fifth installment of our #Enough series through the epistle of Colossians, Eddie Williams teaches from Colossians 3:1a, from a sermon entitled, "New Self." Where the central idea was, to be raised with Christ is to be made New, hence,  'The New Self.'

Their faith teaches that difficulties is not an excuse to distrust and quit trusting the Lord.

In this installment of the series entitled, "Priorities", and in this sermon entitled, "Let's Follow", from Luke 9:57-62. Eddie Williams teaches on Jesus' encounters with three different people to whom He tells of the cost, call, and condition of being His disciple.

From Hebrews 5:11-6:12, Eddie encourages us to pursue maturity in Christ as a priority in this year. He spoke on the different elements on the growth chart to test and identify an immature vs. a mature believer in Christ Jesus.
