This week, I synced up with a buddy who just received his 2022 Ford Maverick and I was able to check out the pros and cons of each. They are definitely very different vehicles but they both have pros and cons. Depending on what type of Overlanding you want to do, either could be a valid option. Guess this explains why I've ordered a Maverick and I'm keeping the Frontier! A huge thanks...

Watch the video to hear the top three of each! Post up in the comments with any suggestions or ideas you've go...

S3E49 - Learning to Use Your Gear VS Buying New Gear (Mistakes New Overlanders Make) 19.12.2021 6:27
First of all, apologies for the sporadic wind noise. I recorded this on a camping trip and the wind was apparently crazy. It's not too bad except in a couple of places, but it's annoying so sorry about that. Today, I put together a really short episode as we approach the holidays talking about the value of learning to use the gear you have, versus just constantly buying new gear. It can be easy to...

S3E42 - Can You Go Overlanding in a Stock Vehicle? (Pros and Cons, Built vs. Stock, Best Vehicle) 31.10.2021 11:11
I've said many times that it doesn't matter what you drive. If you want to get out and explore, just take what you've got and go. In this episode, since the Frontier is still broken down, I took the wife's stock 2017 Honda Pilot EX-L down to Hoosier National Forest for a quick trip with my son. I wanted to show that you could get to a lot of great places regardless of what kind of vehicle you driv...

So, on this week's episode, I wanted to talk more about why I think Overlanding may be right for you. If you've listened to me before, I've done an episod...
