Over the past few weeks we have looked at Jesus the son of man, Jesus the son of God, and Jesus the resurrection. Today we look at Jesus the Reigning king. Kings have kingdoms. And kingdoms have specific things that define them. Listen in today as we learn how we are a part of this kingdom, and what it means for us today. Enjoy!

Manytimes we can think things are too good to be true. The disciples thought that about the resurrection of Jesus. We can also look at the resurrection through rose-colored glasses and forget that it took place during a time of great distress and chaos. Today we look at how the resurrection, which occurred in the midsts of turmoil, still relates to us today.

We continue our series SIMPLY JESUS. Last week we learned that Jesus was the son of man and that his humanity lets us know he gets us. Today we look at the fact that Jesus was also the son of God - and this should give us hope for today.

We wrap up our series on Philippians with chapter 4 by looking at the concept of Joy. Paul ends his letter to the church in Philippi by encouraging them to have an attitude of joy through prayer, mediation, and having a generous posture.

We continue our series on Philippians by exploring chapter 3. Paul was one of the notorious pharisees that persecuted the early church, even agreeing to the death of Stephen. But in a posture of humility, Paul encourages the church of Philippi to forget what is in the past, and focus on the goal of Jesus

We continue our series on the book of Philippians. In chapter 2, Paul encourages the church in Philippi to live humble lives in unity with their fellow believers. And he gives us the best example he can in the person of Jesus Christ.

Today we begin a brand new series on the book of Philippians. Written by the apostle Paul while he was in a Roman prison, this book written to the church in Philippi is full of encouragement as we live out this Christ-life to the world around us.

In this episode we finish our conversation about the origin story of the church. How did the church evolve to look like it does today? We’ll explore the evolution of the pope, why there were crusades, and the events that led to the reformation. In the end, we learn that we may not always get it right. But the church is always the hope of the world.
