Miriam, one of AIM's mission advisors, sits down with Holly to talk about living and working in a Creative Access Nation. They discuss how the gospel is making an impact and outworking in peoples lives. They also discuss some of the challenges of working in a nation where there is great hostility to Christianity.

We invited three of our missionaries Jan, Mat & Katy, into the office to chat to us about their experiences of short term mission, both from the perspective of going on a short term trip, as well as being long term missionaries hosting short term trips.

How do you feel about theology? Does it get you excited, or are you turned off by the idea of big, doorstop books and long, overcomplicated words? Does it sometimes feel like a purely academic exercise somewhat disconnected from daily life? Krish paints a beautiful picture for us of how theology contributes to our worship of God with all our heart, soul and mind.

I’m sure we’ve all had those conversations with friends and family which ultimately come down to this issue: “But if God exists, and he is all-loving, then why am I experiencing this suffering?” Maybe it’s one we are currently wrestling with ourselves. It’s one of the most-quoted arguments against the existence of God. So, “Why do we suffer?”
