I've heard that once you turn 40 you have one foot on a banana skin ... well they weren't wrong!! The girls have been MIA for a while because they are busy Mums but also because they have been dealing with some medical issues which they share about in this episode!

Talofa and welcome to 2021 where January has proved that once again we have to be ready for anything!! We were hoping for a banger start but of course because we have kids its just one surprise after another and our teenagers are already testing us LOL

Afakasi Scoop are all together in the studio again and we were grateful to have Linda join us in an open, raw and emotional conversation about separation/divorce, the signs we may have missed, navigating co-parenting and the light that exists at the end of the divorce tunnel.  We dont advocate for divorce but we do advocate for happiness and self love.

Dont get us wrong, we LOVE our Samoan heritage and culture but we know there is a downside.  Today Tee and Ria are joined by Juliet to discuss the difficulties she faces being a NZ born Samoan in a relationship with her Romeo who was born in Samoa and still has strong family ties there.  The struggle is real and we know she aint the only one going through this.  

We are BACK in the Studio after the 2nd Lockdown!!!  We were a lil all over the place in this first episode back where we started off critiquing some video clips, reflect on our age and how much we are closer we are coming to death and then finish up talking about varying relationships with God.  We've missed getting together and are super happy to be back, hope you enjoy!

In this episode we talk about teen pregnancy, the importance of friends and of not losing yourself along the journey of motherhood.  Motherhood can be difficult but we have no regrets!
