Chip Patterson joined Adam live in Charlotte from the 2023 ACC Football Kickoff. They discuss who has the potential to be the second-best overall quarterback in the ACC. Tripp Tracy, Carolina Hurricanes Analyst joined Adam to discuss the signing of Sebastian Aho to an eight-year contract extension worth $78 million. They discuss the terms of the deal, what it means for the Hurricanes' future, and what fans can expect from Aho in the years to come. The Adam Gold show continues live in Charlotte for day two of the 2023 ACC Football Kickoff. ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips spoke with Adam Gold earlier in the day and discussed various topics from his keynote address from yesterday. Phillips discussed the future of the conference, the challenges facing college athletics, and what he's doing to address them.

Yesterday it was announced that the Carolina Hurricanes have signed defenseman Tony DeAngelo to a one-year deal, bringing him back to the roster for a second time in three seasons. The deal will pay the 27-year-old player $1,675 million. He joined Adam to discuss how the process of signing with the Hurricanes happened, and what is it about the franchise that ultimately led him back.
