THE 4TH ROW PODCAST

Season is now officially over and it is time to select the 4TH ROW POWER TEAM for 2022.

Despite having Benny out hunting, I find a way to pull off a podcast on my own! The South Sevier Rams cap off a 20-3 season with the 2A State Baseball Championship. On this episode we recap the 1st and 2nd Round Playoff games.  We breakdown and analyze the quarterfinal matchups between, South Sevier v. Kanab and Parowan v. Enterprise.  The final rounds of the State Tournament will be hosted by Kearns High School.

On this episode we breakdown the opening day of the playoffs.  We have games being played throughout the state from Blanding to Duchesne.   Great 1st round match-up between North Sevier and Gunnison Valley and 4 other amazing 2nd Round match-ups.  Full breakdown of each potential second round game.

Final week of the regular season.  South Sevier wraps up a 2A East Region championship and Enterprise will claim the 2A West Region title with a win on Tuesday vs. Millard.  The playoffs will begin this Saturday with the 1st and 2nd Rounds at home sites of the Top 4 RPI seeds.   

Weekly Wrap-Up and Shake Up in the POWER 5 Rankings.  South Sevier and San Juan had huge weeks.  Both teams swept their DH matchups.  Both teams find themselves in the POWER 5 and both in the Top 3 of the RPI.  Once more full week until the playoffs.

We breakdown all of the action from Todays (Saturday Feb 19) Second round playoff games - AKA the PLAY-IN GAMES.  All top seeds advance except #10 Kanab knocks of #7 APA-Draper in the lone upset of the day.   We highlight the upcoming match ups in the quarterfinal at the SVC in Richfield on Thursday.

Full analysis of the Entire 2A Playoff Bracket.  We also broke out each quarter of the main bracket to highlight each teams run to the semi-finals at the SVC in Richfield, UT.   The final POWER5 moving into the playoffs features:  1. San Juan  2. Millard  3. South Sevier  4. Enterprise  5.  Parowan

We review the weeks games and look ahead to matchup that may have an impact on the playoff seeding.  Final RPI will be released on Saturday Morning.  Playoffs begin on next week.

Wrap-up of Week 9 in 2A Basketball.  We loaded up and took a road trip to Enterprise and Parowan to watch three of best teams in 2A.  We visited with a lot of old friends and made several new friends from Enterprise, San Juan, and Parowan.  Big shake up in the POWER 5.  The Parowan Ram have taken over the #1 spot.   

Weekly review of previous games and upcoming matchup for week9.  San Juan remains at the top of our POWER 5 Rankings.  Surprise jump by the Parowan Rams who have suddenly found their stride and are winning big region games.
