Reporter Emilio Perez Ibarguen joins the show to discuss a professor suing over retaliation and discrimination, grad employees fighting for expanded healthcare and newly announced plans for restoration of the campus buildings where a shooting occurred last year.

Sometimes the apps we use could really keep us out of trouble. This week, we learn more about an app coded by a MSU sophomore that tracks parking enforcers and notifies students to avoid parking tickets. We also cover the request to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to remove two of MSU's board members. 

This week on the 1909, we have the opportunity to shed light on a striking campus art project that is being showcased to draw attention to missing and murdered Indigenous women called the "REDress Project."

The MSU Board of Trustees saga continues, as our host Alex Walters welcomes back administration reporters Theo Scheer and Owen McCarthy to discuss an outside investigation on the board that included a recommendation to refer certain members from the board to the Governor, accusations of misconduct and more on this weeks episode of The 1909.
