Back in the 80's you often heard the term "Word is Bond" in hip hop music. Unfortunately, today you are more surprised if someone comes through on a promise than if they fall short.  In this edition of Time Out, Tha Voyze explores ways we can ensure what we say, and our plans work out as we say.

Coach Prime and the JSU football program have Florida State, and quite a few other schools feeling, salty.  Salt has many purposes, but what happens if it stops being useful?

Whether it's remodeling a home, car or a wardrobe, the world loves to see renewal. Mankind can also be renovated, and what it takes to change may be less than you suspect.

During this time of year, many children's belief systems are rocked as they find out Santa's not real?  Our faith has been challenged as our world continually devolves due to pandemics, politics and problems.  This episode looks to provide hope by pointing you to what you can believe in.

Our likes, dislikes and personalities make us different. The same things that make us, can sometimes separate us from others.  In some cases, that may be a positive.

The game of golf can teach you much about life.  Surveying the situation before taking action, using the right tool for the proper occasion, etc.  In todays episode of Time Out, we will also look at lessons it teaches us, spiritually.

If you have two evenly matched teams, the one with the better conditioning will win most times.  When it comes time to lean on our spiritual reserves, what can we draw from?

Rejection is a reality of life and it can be a defining occasion.  That definition can either dull your shine or make you great.  

Sometimes we are faced with the same kinds of test in life.  No matter how many times you pass, you still have to fight off the same thought and situations. Why does this keep happening, like groundhog's day?

Waste, toxins, and mess is all a byproduct of living life.  How we dispose of it has a significant impact on our quality of life.

Remember playing keep away in grade school.  Ever thought how it influenced most of the sports we watch today?

Many times we have said, "I can't believe they messed up like that!  If I had (fill in the blank) I would (Insert Action)."  We may posses that thing one day, but what are you doing with what you have now?  

Everyone falls at sometime in their life.  What is the difference though, between someone who falls and someone who fails?

It seems as if people area more apt to talk about doing something then they are to actually follow through. It has eroded public trust and is creating an unsure environment.  Is your word your bond, or are you just saying stuff?

We live very busy lives.  From your 9-to-5, to side hustles, to managing your platform or simply getting lost on social media; we seem to always be doing something.  When is the last time you were still?

When you are going through a rough patch, having someone there with you, at times, is all you need.  Just knowing you are not alone can give you the extra push to make it through. When the person with you has the power to change the situation, that gives you even more hope.

Fear is something that we all have to face at different times in our lives.  Opposites are good weapons against what we face.  The opposite of fear is probably not what you think it is.

Time is the one asset we all have in equal quantities.  What we do with it can define not just our lives but generations to come.

Studying those who have achieved great feats is an excellent way to gain an advantage.  What can we learn from the mindset of the newly crowned NBA Finals MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo?

We have all hear the cliché, "No Pain, No Gain."  In the moment though, that's a hard pill to swallow.  How can we find a silver lining for our suffering? 

Decisions, decisions, decisions.  We all have them to make.  Some decisions we wish we could take back.  Sometimes we get to do them over again though.  In those cases, what do we do?

Outside of a work assignment, getting more than you expected is generally a good thing.  Depending on what we receive, what we were looking for could be the bonus.

Some of the greatest heartbreaks come from unmet expectations.  Disappointments are unavoidable, but there is a way to lessen the times it comes from unmet expectations.
