Today Glen reminds us of the things we have learned about the advent and shows the responses recorded in John 1:1-13.

What did God do when the world was overwhelmed by sin and evil? Would he leave us in darkness? The beauty of the advent is the Word became flesh! In today's message Will Butterfield shares the story of Light coming into darkness.

If Jesus was present as the Word in the creation story, and Jesus is light and life, then where did the darkness come from? Did God create darkness? The advent of Jesus was to a world in the dark.

Today begins a four sermon series on the advent of Christ from John 1:1-13. In today's message Glen brings out the fact that Jesus is God, Word, and Creator...equal with God, preexistent, preeminent, proactive, and productive.

Though temptation is not sin, it is where sin begins. All of us deal with it and sin as a direct result of giving in to it. For a believer who desperately wants to know God through obedience, help with temptation would be greatly welcomed. Jesus teaches us in today's passage.

Does Jesus care about how much we give to the ministry? Does He care about how often we give? When Jesus looks at your giving, what does he think? Today we get some answers as Jesus watches people putting money into the treasury in Mark 12.

Jesus tells us not to worry. Easier said than done, right? But, he does more than that in today's passage. He gives us a way to be successful.
