Nehemiah led a group of refugees to rebuild Jerusalem's walls despite great opposition. This week, we walk through the story to find encouragement to keep building when the project gets tough.

There is a fragile moment right at the beginning of any endeavor, right between dream and activation. This is the moment where many good dreams die. Nehemiah has come to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, and he has to start somewhere. He also knows he cannot accomplish his mission alone. Listen to the story of Nehemiah activating the dream and sharing ownership with others.

In a critical moment, Nehemiah is confronted with a problem that demands a solution. Will he accept the burden of God‚as mission as his own, and if so, how will he respond? We learn from Nehemiah a sequence of responses that can guide us forward as we build the dream of Terraforma Church.

Jesus was sent into the world to help and to heal, and we in turn are sent out from Jesus to do the same. This is a core reality of our identity at Terraforma: we are sent out on mission for the Kingdom of God.

When we intertwine our roots with others, we discover the strength to withstand the wind of life. The Gospel is a unifying force that brings diverse people together under the same banner.

When you win an argument with your lover, you really don't win anything. If we can understand the forces at work in our conflict, we can begin to shape them. Assertive communication will help us to make our needs and expectations known in a way our partner can hear them and respond to them.
