What does a disciple look like? How do they think and how do they live? In this short message Alex Hinson will teach us about the definition, mindset, and lifestyle of a disciple. God made us to walk with Him daily and as you listen you will hear how we do that. 

This week as we finish up the book of James with our second part of this letter, Nick Lewis walks us through Paul's defensive claim "Faith without works is dead". In this teaching we see that we must be a doer of God's word and not only a hearer, and we are also called to reflect our own faith to see if it is being proven real by our character and actions. 

As we walk through the New Testament chronologically, we come to the time when the book of James was written. In this first message on James we will see the background of the book and how James teaches that God is at work in the trials and suffering that we face. Alex Hinson leads us through this teaching and prays that you walk away knowing that God wastes none of our suffering. 

In this message we will follow the first missionary team (Saul and Barnabas) as they go on their first trip together to reach the gentiles. Alex Hinson will walk us through how God sends Saul out on a mission who was saved in a miraculous way. Listen in to see how this story compels us to go and live on mission for God too.

This week as we continue teaching through the book of Acts, Nick Lewis walks us through the story of Peter and Cornelius. As you listen we learn about all foods being declared clean and we learn about Peter sharing the gospel with Cornelius and the gentiles as they believe and receive the Holy Spirit in this gentile pentecost. 

As we continue to look through the story of the early church from the book of Acts, Alex Hinson teaches us about Saul's conversion from a Jewish leader who was arresting Christians to a devout follower of Jesus who was willing to do anything for Him. This story of Saul shows us that God can use anyone no matter their lives before they were saved. 

In the next message on Acts, Alex will be teaching us through the story of Stephen. As Stephen preaches to the Jewish leaders he goes through the story of Israel pointing to Jesus. Stephen's obedience to Christ and the Great Commission leads him to give his life. In the middle of trials, the Church continues to grow and add to their numbers. As we continue to start teaching through the book of Acts, Marshall will teach us about God's healing power and how Peter points us to Jesus through the Old Testament. here you will see that God is the healer of His people. Listen in and find out what happens next as we continue through Acts. 

As we continue in Acts, Alex and Jessica Hinson teach together. The students went to groups before this message and studied the passage before we all came together to talk about what they learned. We will see how the early Christians lived and what we can learn from them.

As we continue this week through our life of Jesus series, Jessica Hinson takes us through the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead found in John 11, and we see the significance of Jesus revealing His power over death for all who put their faith in Him.
