TBTL: Too Beautiful To Live

Andrew had a very unusual experience at the ballpark yesterday, which leads him and Luke to discover a seemingly soulless corporation behind some of today's hottest music. 

Luke finally sinks into the cinematographic splendor of Dune and Dune 2 with a little help from Pirate Walt and a long-forgotten AV cable. Meanwhile, Andrew betrayed a local company this weekend and is now paying the price.  

Luke and Andrew team up with Lindy and Meagan from the Text Me Back podcast to create a podcasting supergroup of sorts. Or maybe it's more of a "Voltron of hilarity", or a "half-chipmunk, half-horse of digital audio content"? Whatever you call it, it's a lot of laughs and a lot of talk about frying pans.  

Luke's ego was gently bruised while ordering coffee at the Starbucks inside the Ralph's that's attached to his hotel in Los Angeles. He and Andrew also (finally) tuck into the story of Red Lobster's $11 million dollar "Unlimited Shrimp" oopsie. 

Luke met the most interesting man in the world yesterday. Not the guy you're thinking of - someone even more interesting than that. He and Andrew also preview a very special edition of TBTL that they're working on.   

Luke and Andrew geek-out over the We Are The World documentary, especially one very, very specific aspect of it. They also get an update on the TBTL Junior Sluggers after their matchup with the Big Bananas yesterday.

Luke and Andrew react to the latest Little League action as your TBTL Junior Sluggers took on the Firesharks last night. Plus, TBTL has a new A.I.-created theme song, thanks to the work of listener Steve. And Luke has a lawnmower date with a man named Terry this afternoon.

One of Andrew's recent dreams leads to an exploration of the Jackass franchise and its lasting appeal in pop-culture. He and Luke are also divided on a Washington Post piece about cheating at pub trivia. And they discuss a "reverse art heist" at a German museum.   

Andrew is ashamed at how much energy he spent arguing something in his head (and online) yesterday, but he's trying to make the best of it. Plus, Luke has had a couple of run-ins with robots and artificial intelligence recently, and they both went pretty well!

Luke experienced THE DOME in Las Vegas this weekend and has a full report. Plus, Andrew joined a new gym and is already a completely different person.

Luke has a new hat that he's excited about, and Andrew has a unique perspective on Mondays.
