Luke has been practicing piano, and he has the tape to prove it…but can he be vulnerable enough to share that tape with us? He and Andrew also discuss buying the naming rights to one of Seattle's premiere NFL practice facilities.

A vexing billboard has reappeared in Andrew's neighborhood. Luke went to the movies this weekend and made a big mess. And listeners help Luke be "more right" the next time he explains the origins of "Skid Row." 

Luke and Andrew find themselves critiquing a new ad campaign, old TV sitcoms featuring teachers, and something Andrew believes is an homage to Twisted Sister (although he's been wrong before.) 

Andrew has a much-anticipated update on his plumbing situation at home, while Luke is hoping to have minor eye surgery this afternoon. They also discuss LeBron James' decision to quit social media and whether or not they are to blame. 

Luke and Andrew both survived a night of major winds and power outages in the region, but now Andrew is bracing for a visit from the plumber who may have good news or bad news about his sewage system. Plus, a Seattle sushi restaurant has shut down after the internet accused it of serving fish with worms in it. 

Andrew overheard a conversation this weekend that was so relevant to his interests, he wonders if it might have been a trap. He and Luke also prepare for "bomb cyclone" headed their way, and an update on Razzlekhan, the self-styled crypto-currency rapper who's headed to prison.

Luke and Andrew call on the StuBot to settle a bet regarding a Mariner's pitcher of yesteryear. They also discuss the sweet snack treats of their youth, and how Bluesky continues to Bluesky. 

Luke is concerned about his favorite news network after seeing a (somewhat misleading?) headline in the Times today. He and Andrew also discuss this weekend's boxing match between two terrible human beings. And they're apparently nowhere near finished talking about closet organization techniques.

Luke is enjoying his time on the Bluesky app, and is finding a lot of old, weird friends there from his Twitter days. He and Andrew also discuss "Babydog," the English Bulldog who's been banned from the Senate floor.

Luke has some new life goals, one of which might have been inspired by an Instagram ad. He also presents a new segment called "Basketball Funny Side Up", in which he regales Andrew with some knee-slapping moments from the NBA court. 

Luke is dealing with a cold that seems to be getting worse. Andrew takes advantage of the situation by filibustering on his broken furnace, his plans to attend the Great Junk Hunt, and his fight with the bill collectors who have erroneously targeted him.   

Andrew witnessed some astounding social behavior involving seat-saving at a concert last night that he'd like Luke to weigh-in on. Luke is trying to detox from the 24/7 news addiction he developed during the election season. And one very young TBTL listener has a plan to fix the country.

It's the 2024 TBTL Halloween Spooktacular! Genevieve joins Luke and Andrew to discuss her best and worst Halloween costumes over the years and to help Luke brainstorm ideas for his own getup tonight. And we hear from Tens of listeners who share their own hair-raising tales of ghostly presences and messages from the beyond. 

Luke and Andrew wax nostalgic about the water parks of their youth, from Turtle Beach to Wild Waves. They also pour an oily cup of coffee out for the Starbucks Oleato, a drink idea that never stood a chance.

TBTL brings you more statues in the news! Another sarcastic sculpture has popped-up in the US Capital. Plus, NBA All-Star Dwayne Wade  also got his own statue this week. Unfortunately, it doesn't look too much like him.

Luke finally explains the strange selfie he took last week that ended up on the TBTL website , and the reveal is better than Andrew expected. They also talk about a story from the sports world that is not about sport, but about the human condition (and when NOT to start taunting people.) And a new statue of a pile of poop in the U.S. The Capitol is surprisingly above-board.

Andrew went glasses shopping yesterday and ended up having an overly emotional response to the whole process. Meanwhile, Luke made a huge stride in creating boundaries around life and work…AND he came up with a great idea for a Halloween costume with his girlfriend.  

Luke is in love with a door, but he's not in love with the new check-in system at a historic Los Angeles hotel. He and Andrew also argue about garbage collectors and their white wax pens. 

Luke and Andrew bond over a radio commercial that has been making them each very angry. Plus, a new toilet technology will record your bowel movements for health purposes, but also raises some logistical and ethical issues. And Chick-Fil-A is finally in the podcast business.
